How we repair it: We rebuild failed flashings to manufacturer spec, replace failed termination bars and counter-flashings, and seal everything to integrate properly with your existing roof system.
Pitch Pocket Failures
What it looks like: Cracked, sunken, or empty pitch pockets around pipes, conduit, and equipment supports due to sealant degradation.
How we repair it: We clean out the failed pocket, refill it with a proper pourable sealer, and where possible we replace the pocket with a more durable detail like a pre-formed boot.
Vegetation Growth
What it looks like: Moss, weeds, and organic debris taking hold around drains, low spots, and seams. Once roots establish in a flat roof, they push through the membrane and open a direct path for water into the building.
How we repair it: We clear the growth, expose the membrane underneath, and repair the damage back to a watertight roofing system.

Yes. We’ve documented repairs for insurance claims across Southern Ontario and can provide the photos, reports, and scope of work your adjuster needs. If the damage is covered, we can also work directly with your insurance provider so you’re not stuck coordinating between two parties.
What kinds of flat roofing systems do you repair?
Videl repairs all major commercial and industrial flat roof systems, including built-up roofing (BUR), modified bitumen, EPDM, TPO, and PVC. Our technicians are trained on the specific repair methods each system requires, because a repair that works on EPDM will fail on BUR and vice versa.
